Is Palo Alto Networks a Firewall ?

It is true that Palo Alto is increasing its momentum. But I suspect that their products has lack of basic Firewall features. I feel they changed their marketing message. They claimed they can replace traditional firewalls but their message is now "keep existing firewall and add our product." In addition, I wonder why they do not show the accuracy rate of their gateway anti-virus.
